About the event
When combining neuroscience, anthropology and hormonal effects on brain development, a new and fascinating field of research has emerged: how hormones that we are exposed to during pregnancy shape our personality, our brain, and the way we perceive the world around us?
In this talk we will get to know the biological side of our personality, and what it has to do with our eye movements and the length of our fingers. We will also discover whether gender influences brain structure and function, are there tasks men can perform better than women or vice versa? Who has a larger brain? Feminism and pink brains, and most important of all – are men and women equal? A scientific journey into sex differences in the brain and how to use physiology to improve relationships, with the neuroscientist Rachel Lanford (MSc.Med, MBPsS).
